The session
You are booking the Signature Session with Beautifully Captured ("the Photographer") at a total price of $335.00.
The package includes 35 professionally edited, high-resolution digital images, delivered through a private online gallery.
The final date, time and location will be agreed between us before the session and confirmed by email.
Deposit and payment
A 25% deposit of $83.75 is required to reserve your date. Your booking is not held until the deposit is received.
The deposit is non-refundable. It compensates the Photographer for turning away other work on your date, and for preparation carried out before the session.
The deposit is credited in full against your package price — it is not an additional charge.
The remaining balance is due when you select your images from your gallery. Full-resolution files are released once the balance is paid.
Additional photographs beyond the included allowance, and buying the whole gallery, are optional and priced in your gallery. You are never obliged to buy either.
The deposit and the balance can each be paid by card, or directly by cash, check or Venmo. Nothing is ever added to a listed price for paying one way rather than the other.
Rescheduling and cancellation
If you need to move your session, tell the Photographer at least 48 hours beforehand and your deposit will transfer to a new date, once, within six months.
Cancelling, or failing to attend without notice, forfeits the deposit.
If the Photographer cancels for any reason, or the session cannot go ahead due to weather or another cause outside your control, you may reschedule or receive a full refund of the deposit — your choice.
Delivery of your images
Your proofing gallery will be available within two weeks of the session unless agreed otherwise.
Images are delivered digitally at full resolution. The Photographer selects which images are edited and presented, using professional judgement about which best represent the session.
Galleries remain online for at least 45 days. Please download and back up your files — the Photographer does not guarantee to store them indefinitely.
Copyright and how you may use the images
The Photographer retains copyright in all images, as is standard practice.
You receive an unlimited personal-use licence: print them, share them, send them to family, use them on your personal social media. No further permission is needed.
Commercial use — advertising, resale, or promoting a business — requires separate written agreement.
Please do not edit, crop heavily, or apply filters to delivered images before sharing them publicly, as they are the Photographer’s portfolio work.
Use of your images by the Photographer
The Photographer would like to show your images in a portfolio, website or social media, but will only do so if you consent below.
You can decline without affecting your booking, price or service in any way, and you can withdraw consent later by asking.
Responsibility
The Photographer carries out the work with reasonable skill and care.
In the unlikely event of equipment failure, illness, or loss of images before delivery, the Photographer’s liability is limited to a refund of what you have paid. This is standard for photography services and reflects that the fee is not insurance against an irreplaceable occasion.
You are responsible for the safety and behaviour of everyone in your party during the session, including children and pets.
